IONOS CLOUD assigns your program tier during the selection process and confirms it by email, along with your credit amount and usage period. You are not entitled to a specific program tier or to a later change of tier.
Private Cloud powered by VMware is not eligible for credits. Credits may also be excluded for capacity-limited resources such as Cloud GPUs.
Registered companies may participate once, provided they were founded less than five years before the date of application. A company website is required for acceptance into the IONOS CLOUD Startup Program.
Your startup funding in three steps
1. Submit your application
Sign up for IONOS CLOUD for free and apply through our online form. Complete, accurate information improves your chances of a higher program tier. Incomplete or clearly inaccurate applications may be rejected without further review.
2. Receive your offer and explore IONOS CLOUD
Test-drive IONOS CLOUD while we review your application. If we approve your application, you'll receive an offer by email stating your program tier, credit amount, and usage period. Submitting an application is not the same as being approved.
3. Accept your offer and launch
Accept the offer and add valid payment information to the IONOS Cloud account you applied with. You have 30 days from the date the offer is sent to do this. Only once you do will we add your credits and confirm your participation by email. Your usage period starts on the first of the month after your account switches from the free trial to paid use.
Up to two years of support, matched to your program tier
In the SPARK tier, you use your starter credits for 12 months, followed by a one-year alumni phase with discounts of up to 10 % on selected price groups. In the ACCELERATE tier, your credits are available for up to 24 months, and there is no alumni phase. After that, list prices or your individually agreed terms apply.
